The photo-etched set 1:700 WWII US Air Power II (SBD, TBD, F4F) from Flyhawk. A set of US Navy carrier aircraft of the early war years rendered in fine photo-etch.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set in 1:700 scale, that is, an accessory to a model of an aircraft carrier, not a model in its own right. The set from Flyhawk brings miniature US Navy carrier aircraft of the early period of the Second World War in the form of fine photo-etched parts.
This second set of the US Air Power range takes in three iconic carrier types: the SBD Dauntless dive bomber, the TBD Devastator torpedo bomber and the F4F Wildcat fighter. The photo-etched rendering makes it possible to build the aircraft with thin wings and fine details, and on some types with the wings folded for parking on deck, which brings both the flight deck and the hangar to life.
Separate the small parts from the fret with a sharp knife, bend the wings and surfaces over an edge and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Spray the aircraft with primer and paint them in period US Navy shades. Tweezers, a magnifier and patience pay off.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the ship model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
