About product

Madworks Soft Sanding Sponges 800 grit (soft sanding sponges)

Soft sanding sponges from Madworks in 800 grit. The flexible foam layer with the abrasive follows the shape of the part and suits fine sanding of curved and broken surfaces. This is modeling equipment, not a kit.

Use

  • Fine contour sanding of plastic, resin, PVC and ABS.
  • Smoothing the surface after coarser grits before a primer is applied.
  • The flexibility allows sanding of rounded shapes and less accessible places.
  • They can be used dry or wet for a cleaner result.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a smoother surface after coarser sanding, including on broken surfaces. The 800 grit is a fine one.

A sanding sponge is a consumable. Protect your airways and ventilate when sanding dry.
