Water-slide decals in 1:12 scale from the Japanese maker Studio27. The set reproduces the livery and sponsor logos of the Yamaha YZR-M1 motorcycle in the colors of the Tech 3 satellite team from the 2006 MotoGP world championship season. It serves to finish a plastic model of the motorcycle.
The Yamaha YZR-M1 was a works MotoGP class prototype with an inline four-cylinder engine; in 2006 the class ran engines of 990 cc. Besides the works squad, the Tech 3 satellite team also entered the M1 with a livery of its own, which this set brings for a faithful finish to a model.
Apply the decals to the gloss painted surface of the fairing, ideally over a layer of clear coat. A softener and setting solution will help the decals adhere to the rounded shapes of the fairing and the tank. Finally go over the parts with clear coat to even them out and protect them.
This is a standalone decal set. The model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
