The real subject

The Citroen DS3 WRC is a competition special of the World Rally Car category derived from the small DS3 hatchback. Compared with the production car it has flared fenders, reworked aerodynamics and full competition equipment. What the sheet offers

This is a standalone decal set, not a model. It complements Heller kits in 1:24 scale and replaces their original printing. The exact list of the artwork and its placement on the body is given by the instructions enclosed with the sheet. Competition cars change their printing from event to event, so sheets tied to a particular round of the season tend to be the only way to a faithful appearance.

Application tips

Transfer the decals only onto a finished, dried and polished coat. They hold best on a glossy surface and no bubbles form under them. Cut the artwork out together with the backing paper, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it can be slid to the side; hold it with a brush and move it into place. Press the excess water out with a soft cloth from the center to the edges. On a shaped area softener helps, as it pulls the decal into the recesses and edges. At the end, even the finished surface out with a coat so that the edges of the carrier layer are not noticeable.
