A decal set for a model of the racing BMW Z4 in 1:24 scale in the form designated as Ecosse with number 79, prepared for Fujimi kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings the markings of one particular racing car, not a generic set of numbers. The version is designated as Ecosse with race number 79 from the ELMS series in 2014. For the build that means that the individual items have a shape cut to measure for the areas of the car and that they fit in one single combination only, that is as they are laid out on the sheet.
The decals are measured for BMW Z4 kits from Fujimi in 1:24 scale. The dimensions of the parts follow the shapes of this kit, so on another model of the same car neither the length of the items on the sides nor the curves around the fenders may match. It is worth checking which kit you have before buying.
First finish the body and let the clear coat cure thoroughly, as decals are not to be applied to fresh paint. The area under them has to be smooth and glossy, as a matte surface shows through under the edge and looks like a light frame. Apply the items from the center of the area to the edges and work one at a time; with large parts think out in advance where you will run the edge. The exact application procedure is given by the manufacturer instructions in the package, so follow them. Once they are dry, coat the whole body, so that the edges disappear under a uniform layer of clear coat and the gloss is the same over the whole car.
The set is for a modeler who wants to build a particular car and not just a color variant. The markings alone are supplied. The kit, paints and clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
