The McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is the racing version of the road coupe, which carries a turbocharged V8 mounted in the middle of the car, behind the backs of the crew. The car was created to the rules of the GT3 category, that is the group in which machines derived from production sports cars start and in which amateur drivers commonly appear alongside professionals. The form the set carries is designated as Long Beach 2014. Long Beach is a street circuit in California run between barriers along ordinary streets, which makes it one of the most demanding courses for GT cars.
A decal sheet with the color form of the car, that is with the main areas of the markings, the lettering of the partners and the race numbers. The decals are prepared for Fujimi kits in 1:24 scale, so the shapes of the markings match the parts of these kits and you do not have to trim or join them.
The decals are applied the wet way. They hold best on smooth gloss clear coat, so coat the body with gloss clear coat before applying the markings and let it cure thoroughly. Cut the item out together with its margin, soak it for a few seconds, let it rest and, once it has released, slide it off the backing into place. Press the water out from under the decal with a soft cloth. On rounded areas and in hollows softener helps, which draws the decal to the surface. The exact procedure and the recommended products are given by the manufacturer in the instructions for the set.
