1:24 BMW Z4 GT3 - Team Brazil Nogaro 2015 Decals Set (for Fujimi Kits)

Decals for the BMW Z4 GT3, 1:24 scale

A decal sheet for a model of the racing BMW Z4 GT3 in 1:24 scale, cut for kits of the Fujimi brand. The items carry the form designated as Team Brazil, Nogaro 2015. This is not a kit, but an accessory to one.

The real subject

The Z4 GT3 is the racing version of the BMW Z4 coupe built for customer teams to the rules of the GT3 category. Compared with the production car it has wider fenders, larger wheels, a front splitter and a large rear wing, so the silhouette looks considerably more predatory. Cars of this category race in the colors of the individual teams and it is precisely the markings that decide which of them ends up standing in the display case.

How the sheet is applied

• It is a classic wet decal: cut the item out, soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to release from the paper.
• The base has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise a silvery haze appears under the film.
• Move the decal into place with a soft brush and draw the excess water off with a cloth.
• On the edges and recesses of the body softener helps, so that the film is drawn to the surface.
• Coat everything at the end, so that the edges of the carrier film disappear.

Who the sheet is for

For builders of racing cars who want a model in a particular team form, and for collectors of the GT3 category. Even a less experienced modeler can manage the application, but with large areas it pays to work in sections and to let the film soften thoroughly. The extent of the markings on the sheet is given by the manufacturer in the enclosed instructions.

The package contains decals only. The model, paints, clear coat and softener are not included, unless stated otherwise.
