Studio27 1:24, a decal sheet for the Fiat Abarth 500 in the colors of the Italian police (for the Fujimi kit). The package holds decals only, this is not a kit, and the model of the Abarth has to be your own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-slide decals from the Japanese Studio27 in 1:24 scale with an Italian police livery for the Fiat Abarth 500 from Fujimi. This is not a kit, as these are strictly markings. You will not find the kit of the car, paints or clear coats in the package, as they are bought separately.
The Abarth 500 is a classic little rascal: a tiny city car to which the Abarth workshop added power, a stiffer chassis and its own emblem, the scorpion. It is precisely that contrast that makes this sheet fun: a police car does not have to be a large sedan, as here it is a nervous hot hatch that makes people smile at the display case. A model in police colors is moreover a simple route to a one-off, as out of a standard kit that everyone has at home you make a car that nobody else has. It suits a gift splendidly and it is a rewarding, easily readable model for children and beginners too.
The body has to be sprayed beforehand: the sheet does not cover the whole area and the rest is left to the paint, so the shade under the decals has to go with the printing. With police schemes the base tends to be white, and white needs a primer and more thin layers, otherwise it shows through. Decals belong exclusively on gloss clear coat; on a matte one air is trapped under the film and the decal silvers. The small body of the Abarth has plenty of curved transitions and edges, so decal softener pays off, as the film is drawn down and follows the shape. At the end clear coat and gentle polishing, so that the markings disappear in the coat and the surface gains a wet look.
The package contains decals only. The kit, paints, glue, clear coats and softener are not part of the delivery.
