A set of parts for raising the detail of a Tyrrell P34 model in the form with race number 3 for the Japanese Grand Prix of 1976, 1:20 scale, for Tamiya kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Tyrrell P34 is the best-known six-wheeled Formula 1 car. Instead of two front wheels it had four smaller ones, placed one behind the other on both sides of the nose, which was meant to reduce drag and to increase the area on which the car stands on the track. The front end of the car is therefore the most interesting place on the model and will take more detail than plastic usually carries.
Parts intended to raise the detail of the Tamiya kit in 1:20 scale in the form with race number 3 for the Japanese Grand Prix of 1976. Some of the parts in the set replace parts of the kit and some supplement them, so they are fitted during the build and not onto a finished model. It therefore pays to keep the instructions for the kit at hand as well and to compare the two sequences.
Before you start gluing, read the instructions through and compare them with the sequence of the kit; some modifications have to be made before the engine cover is closed or the suspension fitted. Try the parts dry, cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest down. Paint the small elements separately before fitting them and make the joints with cyanoacrylate glue in the smallest possible drops, so that the glue does not get onto a visible surface. The specific procedure follows the manufacturer's instructions.
For modelers who build Formula 1 cars in a large scale and want to take them further than the contents of the box. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
