Aires 1:48 exhaust nozzle for the F-16A/B (PW block 5/10/15) is a resin detail set, an accurately rendered replacement nozzle for a jet engine for the plastic F-16 kit from the maker Kinetic. It is not an aircraft model but a part for a kit.

Note: this is not a kit of a whole aircraft but a resin detail set from the maker Aires. It holds a single group of parts, the realistically rendered exhaust nozzle (the rear nozzle of the jet engine) of the American F-16A/F-16B fighter in the PW block 5/10/15 execution. The set is designed as a replacement for the corresponding part in the plastic F-16 kit in 1:48 scale from the maker Kinetic. You have to own the base F-16 kit, as without it the set makes no sense.
The exhaust nozzle is the rear mouth of a jet engine, through which the exhaust gases leave. The abbreviation PW marks it as a Pratt & Whitney engine (the F100 series), with which the early Falcons were powered; blocks 5, 10 and 15 are exactly those early versions of the F-16A/B. The resin part offers fine internal detail, the arrangement of the vanes and the petals of the nozzle, which injection-molded plastic cannot manage at this level. Because the nozzle is clearly visible from behind, it is a prominent visual feature that gives a finished model the believability of a real engine.
Carefully separate the parts from the casting block with a fine saw or a knife and clean up the surface. Glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as classic cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Before painting, wash any mold release agent off the part. Paint it in metallic shades: the inside of the nozzles has the cast of sintered, heat-colored metal (dark steel, burnt blue-violet, golden and coppery tones), ideally with an airbrush using metallic paints and with fine emphasis on the individual petals.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The base F-16 kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
