This is an aftermarket resin detail part from Quickboost (Aires) — fine windshield wipers for the Boeing Chinook HC.1 helicopter. It is not a helicopter model — they are small replacement parts for a plastic kit, specifically for the kit from Airfix, which you have to own.
The windshield wipers are tiny but conspicuous details at the front of the cockpit. Cast resin wipers are slimmer and more faithful than the coarser parts from a plastic kit and give the cockpit glazing a realistic look. The Boeing Chinook HC.1 is the British version of the heavy transport helicopter with its tandem arrangement of two rotors, operated by the Royal Air Force.
The parts are very small — separate them carefully from the casting block with a clean cut and work over a mat so that they do not get lost. Resin is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on it, so apply only a minute amount. Before varnishing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue and paint them to match the subject, usually black.
The detail part is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
