Litaki 1:72 American B-61 thermonuclear bomb, 4 pcs (universal) is a 3D-printed armament set for aircraft models. It is not a model, but an underwing load for your kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed armament set, not a standalone model. The package from the manufacturer Litaki holds four pieces of the American B61 nuclear bomb in 1:72 scale. The set is universal: thanks to the accurate shape and the fine 3D printing it can be carried under a whole range of models of American and allied combat aircraft of the Cold War and of more recent times. It replaces the coarser plastic bombs from the box, or adds armament where the basic kit lacks it. The model of the aircraft has to be owned separately.
The B61 is an American thermonuclear free-fall bomb, introduced at the end of the 1960s and to this day part of the basic equipment of strategic as well as tactical air forces. It is marked by a slender, aerodynamically clean body with a braking parachute in the tail, which slows the fall and gives the carrier time to escape. The bomb exists in several versions with a selectable yield and was carried by a wide spectrum of aircraft.
Separate the 3D-printed parts carefully from the print supports with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean up the cut faces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); plastic cement does not hold on these parts. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts for the adhesion of the primer. The bombs come out well with a smooth base coat and fine decals or stencil markings; an airbrush ensures an even surface.
An armament set, not a model. The model of the aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
