Loose foliage flakes from the Artline line of the German maker HEKI, a package of two hundred milliliters. Artline is the designation under which HEKI carries its more finely worked landscaping greenery, that is material with a smaller and more regular grain than ordinary foliage flakes. On a model this shows above all in small scales: a crown does not look like a lump of foam but keeps to scale, and the individual formations in it are so small that the eye does not read them as grain.
Coat the tree armature or the base with flocking or thinned white glue and scatter the flakes from above over a dish placed underneath, so that the surplus can be used again. Fine foliage holds better when the glue is not too thick and the layer is thin. Let the trees dry hanging or stuck into a piece of polystyrene, so that the crown is not flattened by contact with the surface.
For builders of layouts and dioramas who make their vegetation themselves, and mainly for those who work in smaller scales and need a finer texture. This is a loose material, so do not inhale it and keep it out of reach of children. The maker marks its landscaping goods as not suitable for children under fifteen years of age.
