HEKI Wild Grass, Spring, 45x17 cm is a large grass mat in a fresh spring shade.
Responsibility details are not available.
A grass mat from the German maker HEKI measuring forty-five by seventeen centimeters in spring coloring. The fibers are applied to a practically invisible backing, so the mat tears into irregular pieces and its edge vanishes in the landscape. The spring shade is pale and fresh, as growth is shortly after sprouting, and in a scene it is easy to tell apart from summer green, which is always more saturated and darker.
Apply spray adhesive to a new base and press the mat down. On an area that is already grassed you do not need glue, as the fibers interlock with the base. Do not lay a large-format mat as one piece; tear it into sections and assemble them with irregular edges, otherwise the area looks like a carpet. Add tufts, low grass or bare soil into the gaps.
For layout and diorama builders who want to place a scene in spring, and for modelers who need to grass a larger area at one go. The spring shade also helps show which area in a scene was sown recently. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
