Grass mat, dark green, 75 x 100 cm

HEKI grass mat, dark green, 75 x 100 cm

This is not a model or a kit but a finished grass surface. The backing is a firm special paper on which upright fibers stand in a dense growth. The dark green matches tall grass and shaded places, so it suits spots under trees, north-facing slopes and corners around buildings. The smallest format of the line, 75 x 100 cm, corresponds to 0.75 m² according to the manufacturer. The mat is not tied to a single scale; the manufacturer lists it for the H0, TT, N and Z sizes.

Use

• areas of dioramas and vignettes where the grass is to be tall and dark
• filling in shaded places on an already finished layout, for example under a bridge, behind a building or by a wall
• after cutting it is glued like wallpaper with wallpaper, spray or general-purpose adhesive
• a broken surface comes about by crumpling the mat, unfolding it and only then gluing it down
• cut a road by damping the surface, scraping the fibers off with a spatula and repainting with acrylic

Who it is for

For builders of a single diorama and for modelers who need only a patch or a small area and do not want to buy several meters. A smaller sheet is easy to work on your own, because it can be laid before the adhesive becomes tacky. The same mat also exists in the 100 x 200 cm and 100 x 300 cm formats with the identical coloring, so the area can be extended at any time with no difference in shade.

Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
