Cork gravel in a dark shade, a 100 g pack from the HEKI brand, a light loose material for rubble, scree and rocky terrain on dioramas and model railroad layouts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A loose material for building terrain: crushed cork in a dark shade in a pack weighing 100 g. Against stone ballast cork is markedly lighter, so even a thick layer can be laid with it without adding weight to a diorama or a module. The dark shade suits freshly quarried stone, rubble and scree that are meant to look damp and newly exposed. The manufacturer is HEKI, a German brand of terrain-building materials.
For builders of dioramas for plastic models and for model railroads as well, especially where a large volume of rubble or scree is needed without the added weight. Because cork is light, it also suits portable modules and display-case dioramas, which are carried about often and where every gram tells. The second advantage is coverage by volume: one pack covers an area that would take several times the weight in stone ballast. The material combines well with stone scatter, which adds coarser and shinier grains so that the area is not uniform.
The material is supplied on its own, without glue and without paints, unless stated otherwise. When working with a loose material, protect your airways and do not work in a draft, so that the dust is not blown about.
