Gauge Neutral groundcover flowering meadow light 40 g

HEKI 3309 - scatter, flowering meadow, light, 40 g

A fine scatter material in the shade of a fresh, light green meadow with spots of color that imitate flowering plants. The bag holds 40 g. The material is not tied to a single layout gauge; it can be used in H0, TT, N and Z and just as well on a diorama or a gaming mat. The maker is the German brand HEKI Kittler from Rastatt, which has all its production in Germany.

Use

• Coat the base with thinned PVA glue and sift the scatter onto it from a short height through a fine sieve, so that the area is not blotchy.
• The other option is to pour the material on dry and then flood it with thinned glue and a drop of dish soap from a dropper.
• Layer two or three shades over each other. A uniform area of one color looks artificial; a meadow should be uneven.
• Scatter more thinly at the margins, so that the growth passes gradually into a lane, a grassy strip between fields or ballast.
• Once dry, pour the excess back into the bag; the material can be used again.
• Fine scatter can also be used to green up a tree crown or a bush, not just an area of terrain.

Who it is for

For builders of layouts and dioramas who want a flowering spring to summer meadow, and for military modelers who need light greenery for a small area around a vehicle or figures.

This is a fine loose material. Do not breathe in the dust while working and bear in mind that the item is not suitable for children under 15. Glue is not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
