HEKI scatter material, light green, 85 g is a fine scatter for the basic grassing of areas.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eighty-five grams of fine scatter material from the German maker HEKI in a light green shade. Scatter is the oldest and at the same time the simplest way to make a grassed area on a model: it is sifted onto glue and creates a continuous green surface. It does not have the texture of standing blades that static grass or a grass mat has, but for large areas, backgrounds and places under growth it is still the most practical solution.
Coat the area with flock adhesive or thinned PVA glue and sift the scatter on from above over a lined box, so that the excess can be caught and used again. Do not sift just one shade over the whole area, as the result then looks like a green carpet. It is better to work in layers and mix the shades, or to add tufts and taller growth onto the finished scatter, which gives the area texture.
For layout and diorama builders grassing large areas, and for modelers who need a base under further vegetation. This is a loose material; do not breathe it in and keep it out of the reach of children. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
