A finished die-cast collector's model of the Subaru Impreza WRC99 rally car with start number 23, in the livery from the Acropolis Rally 2000, which Toshihiro Arai drove. The 1:64 scale miniature from MINI GT is supplied painted and assembled; it is not a kit.
The Subaru Impreza WRC99 is a works rally car for the world championship from the turn of the millennium. It is based on the Impreza with all-wheel drive and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with a roll cage, aerodynamic elements and a gravel setup added. The Acropolis Rally in Greece is among the most demanding gravel events, with a rocky and dusty surface.
The model faithfully captures the rally livery with start number 23, the sponsor graphics, the large rear wing and the gravel ride height. It has a metal body and chassis, rubber tires with racing wheels and a well-worked interior with a suggestion of the cage.
