National insignia of the Turkish Air Force 1:48 is a universal decal set from the Tiger Head Models brand. It contains markings usable across several types of aircraft, not a kit of one particular model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A universal set of decals in 1:48 scale with the national insignia of the Turkish Air Force. Unlike sheets devoted to one type of aircraft, this is a stock of markings you will use again and again on different models — it suits the cases where kit decals are missing, damaged, yellowed or wrong in color. It is not a kit and not a model of the airplane.
National insignia are the first thing a viewer notices on a model, and at the same time what suffers most from the age of the decal sheet in older kits. A separate set solves that problem: it gives you freshly printed insignia in a uniform shade and in several sizes, so that you can cover the fuselage and wings of types of different sizes. It is practical for rebuilds and conversions too, when a modeler combines parts from several boxes and needs to bring the markings into line, or when one insignia is ruined while being applied and the whole sheet is spoiled by it.
Before applying, mark the position of the insignia lightly on the model — with national insignia symmetry is noticed at once, so measure from fixed points and not by eye. The surface must be glossy and dry. Soak a decal briefly, let it rest on its paper and only then slide it off; soaking too long washes the adhesive away. Soak up the remaining water with the edge of a paper towel and squeeze it out gently from the center outward. Once everything is dry, go over the model with a clear coat to the degree of gloss you want; only then comes the patina.
The package contains decals only. The kit and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
