A set of masks for painting the kit of the Boeing 767-300 from the Zvezda company in 1:144 scale. The parts are cut to suit this kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Boeing 767-300 is a wide-body twin-engined airliner with two aisles in the cabin, a stretched version of the original 767 type. In its day it was among the types that opened long-haul routes to twin-engined aircraft. In 1:144 scale it makes a model with large smooth areas of fuselage and wing, on which careful painting comes out well.
Masks for painting, cut to suit the kit of the Boeing 767-300 from the Zvezda company in 1:144 scale. They cover the areas that are to stay free of paint, so you do not have to tape them up laboriously. Compare the extent of the set and the placement of the individual parts with the manufacturer's instructions. They can also serve where a straight boundary without a step is to arise between two shades of paint.
Wash and degrease the base before sticking them on. The masks belong on the model before spraying, not onto paint that has already dried. Press the edges down thoroughly with a blunt tool, so that the paint does not run under them, and spray in several thin layers. Take the mask off while the paint is fresh, best with the point of a knife or with tweezers. On an airliner one usually works on a gloss finish, where every unevenness is well apparent, so it pays to check the finished transitions once more and to put right any overrun with a thin brush.
For modelers who build airliners in 1:144 scale and want clean frames to the glazing and sharp transitions of paint. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
