Concrete barriers in 1:35 scale. An element that leads the movement of vehicles and figures in a scene and closes off unwanted views through.
Responsibility details are not available.
Concrete barriers are the most widespread way of narrowing a road, separating lanes or protecting an entrance. They stand free, by their weight alone, and can therefore be rebuilt in the field within moments: hence their familiar angled shape with a widened foot. For a diorama they are rewarding twice over. They determine where movement leads, so the scene gains order, and at the same time they are surfaces on which every layer of paint, dust and wear is visible.
Before painting, wash the parts, degrease them and let them dry. Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the mark down. Concrete is never painted in one tone: apply a light gray base and bring it to life with patches that are not continuous, into warmer and cooler tones alike. Leave the edges and the corners battered and go over them with a light dry brush, and darken the seams with a wash. Dust the lower part with pigment in the color of the ground around it and lead the vertical streaks down from the top edge, as rainwater would lead them. Choose the glue according to the material stated on the packaging.
For modelers who build city and modern combat scenes in 1:35 scale and need an element with a quick effect. Check the number of pieces in the package on the packaging. Paints, glue and loose materials are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
