A 1:48 masking set for a model of the He 111 H-6, prepared according to the name for a kit from the ICM brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Heinkel He 111 in the H-6 version is among the most numerous variants of this German twin-engine bomber. Its unmistakable feature is the fully glazed nose, where the pilot and the navigator share one glasshouse and the gunner's position is offset from the center line of the fuselage. On a model the clear parts form a large area and carry so many frames that hand lining takes more time than all the rest of the paintwork.
The name ties the set to the He 111 H-6 kit from the ICM brand in 1:48 scale. Check the match against the information on the set's packaging. Which areas are covered and how many parts the set contains is likewise stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Wash and degrease the clear parts before the masks go on, because on a greasy surface the edge will not sit down. The masks belong on the model before spraying; apply them with tweezers and on continuous glazing work from one end, so that no panel is left out. Press the edges down carefully, apply the paint in several thin coats and remove the masks once the finish has set.
The set suits anyone building an He 111 in 1:48 scale who wants the glazed nose clean and the frames the same width. It also comes into its own when masking during a multicolor camouflage, when the canopy is covered again and again. It helps just as much when you build the model with the canopy open and want the frames clear from inside too.
The kit and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
