A masking set in the TFace version for the late framed canopy of the Bf 109 G-6 model in 1:48 scale, for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The TFace designation is carried by the version of masks that allows for masking both sides of the glazing, that is, outside and inside. The inner side of the frames can then be sprayed in the cockpit shade and the outer side in the camouflage colors of the airframe, without having to touch the frames up with a brush. Check the extent of the masks in the manufacturer's information, because it differs between individual items in the line.
According to the name it is the Bf 109 G-6 model in 1:48 scale from Tamiya and its late framed canopy. The set does not apply to the canopy variant with fewer frames, where the shape of the panes is different. The Bf 109 G-6 is the most widespread version of this fighter, powered by the liquid-cooled inverted V12 DB 605. Given how often it is built, accessories for this version are worth choosing according to the particular canopy configuration.
First stick the inner masks down, spray the cockpit color and let it dry. Only then do the outer masks and the exterior paints follow. Wash and degrease the glazing before sticking the masks down, press the edges of the masks with a blunt point and apply the paint in thin coats. Take the masks off shortly after drying, while they can still be peeled away without tearing the finish. The inner mask has to be removed before you glue the canopy into the fuselage, because later you will not be able to reach it.
A masking set is supplied. The kit, paints, glue and decals do not belong to it, unless stated otherwise.
