The Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 was the most numerously built subtype of the G series. It was powered by a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine and ahead of the cockpit it has the conspicuous bulged covers over the machine gun breeches, by which it is recognized at a glance. Late production machines differed from earlier ones in a number of details. The qualifier in the name points out that the set is aimed at a machine fitted with underwing rocket launchers, that is, at the form used against bomber formations.

The extent of the set is given by the manufacturer's instructions.
The elements of the SPACE range have no adhesive layer of their own; they hold only by the glue you apply. First paint the inside of the cockpit and let the paint cure. Then moisten the backing paper under the chosen element with a sponge and a drop of detergent; the sheet is not dipped in water. As soon as the bond releases, lift the element off with tweezers, lay it on a dry, degreased surface and fix it with PVA glue, that is, white glue. The manufacturer does not recommend cyanoacrylate glue. Do not use a decal softener, as its chemistry would attack the printed layer. In 1:48 scale the elements are small, so you will not manage without good light and a steady hand.
For modelers who want to finish the color of a Messerschmitt cockpit quickly and without painting small details. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
