The real subject

The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first jet fighter to reach series production and combat service. It differed from its piston-engined rivals at first glance: a fuselage of triangular cross section, wing leading edges swept back, two engine nacelles slung under the wing and a nose landing gear. The A-1 version is the fighter variant. The cockpit is single-seat and tends to be the most closely watched place on the model, because a great deal of it is visible under the glazing.

What the set is for

The set belongs to the LooKplus range and is aimed at the places that draw the eye most on a finished model, that is the area around the cockpit. Read them right through before building, because some of the parts go in before the fuselage is closed.

Fitting the set into the build

The add-ons are fitted during the build, not afterwards onto a finished model. Try the assembly dry first and only then glue it, because the plastic of the kit usually needs slight adjustment where a part seats. Work on the small parts with tweezers and set them aside in a dish so that they do not get lost. The choice of glue and the way of fixing the parts is described in the manufacturer's instructions.
