Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted figures of Frankish warriors in 1:72 scale. The package contains twenty-four pieces. The figures in this range are in soft plastic, that is, in a material on which ordinary polystyrene cement and paint do not hold without preparation. That is not a flaw but a property of the material, and it is enough to allow for it beforehand. The set follows on from other peoples in the same range, so opposing armies can be put together from them.
The Franks were a Germanic confederation that took control of the territory of today's France and the Rhineland after the fall of the Western Roman Empire and laid the foundations of medieval Europe. They were famous for a throwing axe called the francisca and for a short throwing spear, with which they opened a fight before it came to swords. Their later empire under Charlemagne became the most powerful state in the West of its day.
First wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry out completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics, or the paint will crack and flake off once dry. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with polystyrene cement. Go over the finished figures with a varnish that seals the surface and increases resistance to rubbing during play.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
