A set of unpainted figures of Celtiberian warriors in 1:32 scale. The large scale gives a figure room for painting work that cannot be managed in 1:72: graded shadows, drawn-in eyes and patterns on the shields. The figures are in soft plastic, on which ordinary polystyrene cement and paint do not hold without preparation. That is not a flaw but a property of the material to allow for.
The Celtiberians inhabited the interior of the Iberian Peninsula and were renowned warriors who served Carthage and Rome alike, according to who was paying at the time. They were famous for the curved sword called the falcata and for a small round shield. Their swords were of such quality that after conquering the peninsula the Romans took them into their own armament. They fought in a loose formation and relied on personal prowess more than on a close line.
First wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry out completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). With Celtiberian warriors it pays to give each figure a different coloring of dress, as uniform equipment would be historically meaningless for them.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
