A collector's resin kit of the modernized version of the Soviet FAI light armored car, designated FAI-M, in 1:100 scale. The resin casting is intended for experienced modelers and represents a small model of interwar Soviet vehicles for the display case or for a diorama. It is supplied as a set of resin parts.
The FAI-M was the modernized version of the Soviet FAI light armored car. It came out of a conversion to a stronger and longer car chassis, which improved both its toughness and its road behavior. The vehicle carried a light machine gun in a rotating turret and served for reconnaissance and liaison at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend an airbrush and fine modulation, and you create the weathering with washes and dust pigments. The classic choice is the Soviet green tones.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
