A collector's resin bust devoted to the aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, in 1:10 scale from Life Miniatures. The set holds cast resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is intended for experienced modelers and collectors of figures.
Amelia Earhart was an American aviator and one of the best-known figures of the early era of flight. She became famous as the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. Her flying career closed in 1937 during an attempt to circle the globe, when she disappeared over the Pacific Ocean. The bust captures the period flying clothing and the leather pilot gear.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. The leather of the flying suit and the skin can be worked out in oils or acrylics with gentle shading.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
