This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:12 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa captures the legendary two-stroke Yamaha RZ250 motorcycle of the 4L3 generation of 1980 in the black form. The surfaces of the headlight, the tail light and the seat grab rail are chrome plated. The model is molded in white, so the fairing parts have to be painted.
The RZ250 of 1980 brought the leading technology of its day: a liquid-cooled two-stroke inline twin, Monocross rear suspension and cast wheels. For its performance it earned the nickname the 400 killer and became an icon of the two-stroke era.
On a motorcycle concentrate on the frame, the engine and the accurate seating of the fairing. Apply the black paint with an airbrush over a smooth base and finish with a gloss clear coat. Leave the chrome-plated parts unpainted or paint them sensitively; apply the decals over a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
