About product

Yamaha YZR-M1 Decals Set 1:12 (Tabu design)

A decal set from Tabu design in 1:12 scale for a model of the Yamaha YZR-M1 racing motorcycle. The sheet brings markings and livery for finishing a model of this road racing machine faithfully. It is not a motorcycle model but supplementary decals for a kit you already own.

The real subject

The Yamaha YZR-M1 is a works racing motorcycle built for the top class of road racing. It stands out for its powerful four-stroke engine and aerodynamic fairing covered in eye-catching sponsor livery, which completes the machine's characteristic appearance.

Usage tips

  • Apply the decals onto a smooth fairing surface that has been coated with gloss clear.
  • Use a decal softener so that they conform to the curved shapes.
  • Seal the finished livery with gloss clear coat for an even sheen.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building the Yamaha YZR-M1 in 1:12 scale.
  • Fans of road motorcycle racing.
  • Those who want to add authentic markings and livery to a model.

This is a decal set, not a kit. The motorcycle model, paints and glue are not included in the package.

FAQ

No, it is a standalone decal set. You need to have the Yamaha YZR-M1 model itself; the set adds the markings and livery.

The set is meant for 1:12 scale.

Like classic waterslide decals, onto a smooth surface coated with gloss clear, ideally with a decal softener.
