The starter set contains an injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary ocean liner Titanic reduced to 1:1200 and with it modeling paints, a brush and glue. A display stand for showing the finished model is included as well. The small scale and the clearly arranged build make the set an ideal gift and an entry-level model. The characteristic silhouette is completed by the four funnels and a well-worked deck.
At the time she was completed, R.M.S. Titanic was one of the largest and most luxurious passenger liners in the world. During her maiden voyage across the Atlantic in April 1912 she struck an iceberg and sank, which became one of the best-known maritime disasters in history. To this day the ship stands for the era of the great transatlantic liners and for the fragility of the belief of the time in unsinkability.
In this small scale glue carefully and in small amounts, so that the detail of the decks and the superstructure stays legible. Divide the hull by color into a dark lower part and lighter superstructure, and paint the funnels in their characteristic shades. Once the paint has dried, apply the decals and place the model on the enclosed stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, the brush and the glue are part of this starter set.
