An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Junkers Ju 87B-2 Stuka dive bomber in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. It is a so-called snap-fit model whose parts can be joined without glue, and a display stand is included in the package. A small number of parts and a simple build make the model an ideal quick project as well as a fitting addition for collectors and tabletop games, without losing the characteristic silhouette of the Stuka.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber and one of the best-known aircraft of the Second World War. You recognize it by its inverted gull wing, its fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings and its ability to attack accurately from a dive. The B version was the classic type of the early war period. The Stukas made their name above all supporting ground troops during the blitzkrieg campaigns.
The model is snap-fit, so the basic assembly can be done without glue; for a firmer and cleaner joint, though, a drop of liquid cement for plastic is what we recommend. The parts are small, so go carefully. Painting is not necessary, but it raises the final impression markedly, and an airbrush with a primer beforehand is ideal. The green-gray camouflage and discreet weathering are typical.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
