Myasishchev 3MD is a plastic kit of the Soviet strategic bomber in 1:144 scale from Mikromir.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet four-engine Myasishchev 3MD strategic bomber (NATO reporting name Bison) in 1:144 scale from Mikromir. The smaller scale makes the model a practical piece for a collection of large Cold War machines and a fitting kit for lovers of Soviet aviation. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Myasishchev M-4 and the developed variants of the 3M family were among the first Soviet jet strategic bombers able to carry nuclear armament over long distances. The 3MD version was a later, aerodynamically improved form. These large machines with their long range made up an important part of Soviet strategic aviation and later also served as tankers and cargo carriers.
In 1:144 scale, take care over clean joins on the large fuselage and wings and over careful cleanup of the small parts. For the faithful look of a bare-metal aircraft, a smooth base, silvery and metallic shades and fine emphasis of the panels suit well. The model shows to advantage on a stand for aircraft in flight attitude.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
