1:144 Tornado IDS/GR.1 - Model Set is a small Revell kit supplied with acrylic paints, glue and a brush as well, that is with everything needed to finish it.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package of the Model Set range from the brand Revell holds, besides the plastic parts, basic water-thinnable acrylic paints, glue and a brush. The small scale means a model that can be managed in one or two evenings and takes up no more room on a shelf than the palm of a hand, so it suits even where there is no space for large aircraft.
The abbreviation IDS denotes the strike execution of the aircraft, which the Royal Air Force kept under a name of its own, GR.1. The pivoting surfaces made it possible to spread the wing for takeoff and landing and, conversely, to draw it in toward the fuselage for fast flight close above the ground, where the machine was to make the work of the defense harder. It was precisely this role that set its shape: two men in tandem, a robust landing gear for operation from short strips and the ability to carry a heavy load of armament under the fuselage.
In 1:144 scale the cleanness of the surface counts for more than the number of parts. Remove the flash with a file and sand the seams smooth, because every unevenness shows once the coat is on. Apply the paints very thinly, so that the engraved lines do not disappear, and lay the decals on one by one onto a gloss base. The landing gear legs are fragile, and it pays to glue them on right at the end.
The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted, but the box does hold paints and glue.
