Dragoons were cavalry able to fight both in the saddle and dismounted as infantry. French dragoons of the Napoleonic era wore a green coat and a brass helmet with a crest and horsehair, and they were armed with a saber, pistols and a dragoon musket. The Napoleonic Wars at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries and in its first decades were a period of extensive European campaigns in which cavalry played a key role in reconnaissance, pursuit and attack.
Separate the parts from the sprues carefully, clean up the mold seams and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. In the large 1:16 scale the painting of the face, the skin tones and the horse's coat will stand out; metallic sheen will bring the helmet and the metal parts to life and colored facings will do the same for the uniform. Bring out the harness and the folds of the cloth with a darker wash and a fine dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
