The Aber 1:16 turned brass antenna, a German 2 m antenna, is a metal accessory for large models of German tanks. It is not a model but a part for improving one.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a metal accessory from the Polish manufacturer Aber in the large 1:16 scale. It is not a model or a kit: it is a turned brass reproduction of the German two-meter tank antenna, together with small brass and photo-etched parts (for example the base and the mount). The antenna replaces the coarse or fragile plastic antenna from the model with a faithful and tougher metal one.
The two-meter rod antenna was part of the equipment of most German tanks of the Second World War for communication between vehicles. The metal version has the correct thin, slightly tapering profile and holds its shape better than a plastic alternative.
Seat the base of the antenna in the hole prepared on the model and fix it with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer for metal so that the paint holds well. Handle the long, thin part carefully so that it does not bend.
This is a metal accessory for a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
