An exceptionally sizeable plastic kit of the German artillery observation vehicle Pz.Beob.Wg. IV Ausf.J in the giant 1:16 scale from the firm Trumpeter. In the large scale the wealth of detail of the running gear, the hull and the turret stands out and the model becomes a prominent piece in a collection.
The Pz.Beob.Wg. IV was an artillery observation vehicle built on the chassis of the German medium tank Panzer IV. It served for directing artillery fire, was equipped with observation and signals gear and used the proven, widely distributed chassis with its good mobility. The Ausf.J version is among the late forms of the series.
In a large scale, give attention to the running gear and the interior before the hull is closed up. Use a thin cement for plastic and make the joints firm. We recommend a primer, an airbrush and weathering with mud and dust effects; washes and pigments will bring out the relief of the large surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
