Royal Model 1:16 Sidewalk Section (2 pcs) is a resin set of two sidewalk sections for large-format dioramas and display cases.
Responsibility details are not available.
A scenic base from the Italian maker Royal Model in 1:16 scale. The set contains two sections of town sidewalk cast in resin. The segments can be laid side by side to make a longer stretch of sidewalk for large-format dioramas, display cases and display bases.
Sidewalks with curbs and paving slabs are an essential element of urban scenes. In the large 1:16 scale the texture of the surface and of the joints comes out, which makes the base a convincing ground for figures, busts and motorcycles.
Wash the castings free of mold release agent and apply a primer before painting; use super glue (cyanoacrylate) to join the sections. Concrete and stone surfaces suit gray tones with a wash into the joints, dry-brushing will bring out the texture, and pigments will complete the urban grime and weathering.
The base is supplied as an unpainted resin casting. Paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
