A photo-etched basic set for the Tiger II Henschel, Vol.1 Basic set in the large 1:16 scale from the Polish maker Aber. Fine metal parts for a large-scale kit of the German heavy tank: it is not a model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail accessory in photo-etched brass, not a model. The basic set contains fine brass photo-etched parts that replace and supplement the plastic parts of the large-scale kit of the German heavy tank Tiger II with the Henschel turret in 1:16 scale. It is the first, key part of the photo-etch range for this model and typically covers the most visible areas. It is made by Aber, a Polish specialist in photo-etch, and the parts are intended for the Tamiya and Trumpeter kits.
The Tiger II, nicknamed the King Tiger, was a German heavy tank of the closing stages of the Second World War. It combined steeply sloped frontal armor with a long 8.8 cm gun. Most vehicles carried the production turret designed by Henschel. In the large 1:16 scale even the small details that photo-etch adds come out clearly.
For more advanced modelers who are building the Tiger II with the Henschel turret in 1:16 scale and want to lift the model with fine metal details. Working with photo-etch calls for patience and the right tools.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
