1:20 Renault R26 - Mild Seven 2006

Renault R26 - Mild Seven 2006 decal set 1:20 (Tabu design)

A supplementary waterslide decal set (not a model) from the Japanese maker Tabu design for building a model of the Formula 1 car Renault R26 in Mild Seven colors from the 2006 season, in 1:20 scale. The set extends and refines the sponsor logos and technical markings beyond the basic kit.

The real subject

The Renault R26 was the Formula 1 single-seater of the 2006 season, with which the Renault works team took both the drivers' and the constructors' world championship. The car carried the striking blue and yellow combination of its main partner Mild Seven.

Use

• The decals float off in lukewarm water and go onto a painted, smooth surface.
• We recommend a gloss base and a decal softener so that they settle onto the shaped surfaces of the body.
• Seal them with a top clear coat.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building a Formula 1 single-seater in 1:20 scale.
• Fans of the V8 era and of precise period markings.

This is a decal set, not a kit. The model itself, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
