A resin detail accessory from the Czech maker CMK for the large model of the German battleship Bismarck in 1:200 scale. The set holds eight finely cast canvas blast bags for the barrels of the main guns, which sealed the opening where the barrels passed through the turret and which a basic kit usually handles only in simplified form.
Bismarck was one of the largest battleships of the Kriegsmarine, sunk in 1941. The main guns were of 380 mm caliber in four twin turrets, eight barrels in all, which this set matches exactly.
Wash the mold release off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The textile character of the blast bags will stand out with a matte coat and light emphasis on the folds with a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
