This plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Italian brand Italeri captures one of the most luxurious automobiles in history, the Bugatti Type 41 Royale in its Coupé Napoléon form. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are needed to finish it.
The Bugatti Type 41 Royale was a giant and exceptionally luxurious car of the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. Only six were made and it was one of the largest and most expensive automobiles of its day, powered by a huge straight-eight engine. The Coupé Napoléon was Ettore Bugatti's own personal car and to this day it counts as an icon of automotive design.
The car comes into its own with a carefully painted body: the classic finish is a deep gloss black, which you achieve with a lacquer, polishing and possibly a clear coat. Bring out the chrome fittings, the radiator grille and the trim with chrome paint or foil, pick out the wheels and do not forget the details of the elegant interior. On a car model, flawless cleanup of the body joints pays off especially well.
