Responsibility details are not available.
A sizable and detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter aircraft Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 (nicknamed the Dora) in the large scale of 1:24. The model offers a finely engraved surface, a detailed cockpit and a complete model of the engine and movable control surfaces. It belongs among the large kits for more demanding builders. Take the exact contents of the package as indicative.
The Fw 190 D-9 was the ultimate version of the successful German Fw 190 fighter, recognizable by its elongated nose section with the inverted-V12 Jumo 213 engine. Compared with the earlier versions with a radial engine it offered better performance at high altitudes and it was among the best German fighters of the close of the Second World War. It was deployed in the last months of the conflict.
A large scale reveals every detail, so a careful cleaning up of the joints and seams pays off. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and assemble and paint the model of the engine separately. The movable surfaces allow a dynamic display. A primer and an airbrush are recommended; the typical German camouflage schemes will stand out with panel highlighting, light shading and a discreet patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
