Injection-molded plastic model of the American Freightliner FLC conventional tractor in 1:24 scale from the Italian brand Italeri. The model captures the classic American long-nose truck. The set contains small chrome-plated parts, rubber tires and decals; it is a fairly extensive build for more experienced modelers. The contents are the tractor unit itself (the cab with the chassis and the engine).
Freightliner is an American truck brand with a reputation for well-built and elegantly laid out tractors. The FLC type belongs to the conventional, long-nose tractors typical of long-distance haulage in the USA: a long hood, a powerful diesel engine and a multi-speed gearbox for heavy rigs on long routes.
Treat the cab with a primer and paint it with an airbrush in thin coats; glue the chrome-plated and clear parts so that they do not fog. Paint the chassis, the engine and the interior before assembly. A gloss coat and the enclosed decals will give the truck the typical look of an American long-haul tractor.
