This upgrade detail set brings a finely etched nickel silver canopy frame for the large-scale model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter. The frame makes the shape and the division of the glazing more accurate, and the set also holds the armored windshield that the basic model lacks, plus etched rudder pedals as a bonus. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory.
The etched parts are glued with cyanoacrylate (super glue). The frame can be applied to the clear parts from the kit, or new glazing can be made from the enclosed templates. The set is meant for the large-scale Bf 109E model in 1:24 scale.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
