The set contains four miniature distributors printed in hard resin by 3D printing. They serve as a convincing replacement for, or an addition to, the ignition system on the engines of car models in 1:24 scale. This is not a car kit but a detail accessory meant to complete the engine bay.
The distributor sends the high voltage to the individual spark plugs. In scale it is a prominent and clearly visible part of the engine that the makers of basic kits often simplify. Adding a finely printed part and routing your own wiring, for example drawn tubing, gives the engine a realistic look worthy of a competition display case.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and wash off any resin residue. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Metallic shades and black will bring out the body and the cap of the casting; you add the wiring separately.
Supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin detail set. Glue, paints and wiring are not included in the package.
