This detail upgrade set lifts the cockpit of the large-scale model of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the Mk.IXc version considerably. Its basis is a layered nickel silver instrument panel with sharp decals of the dials, completed with decals and photo-etched parts for the side walls of the cockpit and with the frame of the armor behind the seat. This is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit.
The photo-etched parts are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and the decals are applied as wet decals onto a surface prepared with paint. The layered panel allows a realistic depth of the instruments. The set is intended for the large-scale Airfix model of the Spitfire Mk.IXc in 1:24 scale.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
