About product

Tabu design 1:24 Toyota TS050 LM2016 LOGO

A set of waterslide (wet) decals from Tabu design for a model of the Toyota TS050 Hybrid sports prototype in 1:24 scale. It focuses on the sponsor logos and additional lettering matching the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2016 endurance race. It makes it possible to complete or refine the markings of a model without laboriously painting tiny logos.

Use

  • Cut the individual motifs out and immerse them in lukewarm water for a few seconds.
  • Once the film releases, slide the decal onto smooth, glossy, degreased paint.
  • Squeeze the water out from under the decal with a soft cloth and use a softener to make it settle into the detail.
  • Once dry, even the surface out with clear varnish.

Who it is for

  • Builders of models of racing cars and prototypes.
  • Modelers who want faithful period markings of a particular season.

The decals are supplied on their own; the model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.

FAQ

They are classic waterslide (wet) decals, activated by immersion in water.

Sponsor logos and additional lettering for the livery of the car from Le Mans 2016; it is not a complete decal sheet for the whole car.

Smooth, glossy, clean paint; on a matte ground they could silver.
